Understanding Parliament

 The New Zealand Parliament is the legislature of New Zealand, consisting of the Queen of New Zealand and the New Zealand House of Representatives. The Queen is usually represented by her governor-general. Before 1951, there was an upper chamber, the New Zealand Legislative Council.Last In 2018 the Labour Party won over the Parliament and Jacinder Arden became Prime Minister for New Zealand.After every 3 years they choose a new Prime Minister.The Sovereign known as the Governor General is named after the Queen Pasty Reddy
